General Nexcomb and NexCore technical ranges
| Particular | Range or description | Pricing relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Finished panel thickness | 6-100 mm | Different build-ups can change the finished-panel price. |
| Top aluminium skin | 0.7-1.0 mm | Skin thickness is one of the variables we consider when preparing the finished-panel quotation. |
| Bottom aluminium skin | 0.5-1.0 mm | Skin thickness is one of the variables we consider when preparing the finished-panel quotation. |
| NexCore thickness capability | 3-100 mm | Our displayed core price table lists selected 10, 15 and 20 mm configurations only. |
| NexCore alloy and temper | AA3003, H18 | Confirm the same material in the technical offer and purchase order. |
| Core foil thickness capability | 0.040-0.090 mm | Our displayed core price table includes selected 50- and 76-micron foil configurations. |
| Cell-size capability | 3, 4, 6, 10, 14 and 19 mm | Our displayed core price table includes 6, 10, 14 and 19 mm cell sizes. |
| Top-coat types | PVDF or FEVE | For specific project requirements, we may also quote SDP or Polyester where applicable. |
| Reaction-to-fire classification | Class A2-s1,d0 in our product literature | We recommend checking the applicable test report for the actual quoted panel build-up and project requirement. |
Where Nexcomb panels and NexCore may be considered
Façades and Cladding
We offer flat, cassette, non-cassette, inclined and curved Nexcomb panel forms. Wind actions, panel spans, support centres and connection details still require project-specific engineering.
Ceilings and Partitions
We offer Nexcomb options for ceilings and partitions with application-specific fixing approaches. Confirm fire, access, service coordination and suspension requirements for the project.
Transportation and Interiors
We support selected transportation, train coaches, cleanroom, lift, escalator and interior applications. Each sector requires its own performance, fabrication and approval criteria.
Curved and Custom panels
Curved, inclined and J-type forms can add forming, jointing, reinforcement, edge treatment and mock-up costs beyond the base panel range.
Nexcomb 3D louvers
Nexcomb 3D louver geometries are project-specific. We prepare a separate quotation after reviewing the complete panel build-up, geometry, supporting framework, fabrication and installation requirements.
NexCore with Other facings
We can supply NexCore for integration with facings such as HPL, MDF, plywood and FRP where the downstream panel design is suitable. Core-only supply does not create a finished board; lamination design, adhesive selection, edge closure and testing remain separate considerations.
Compare equivalent specifications, not headline rates
| Particular | Nexcomb finished panel | NexCore core-only supply | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pricing unit | ₹ per square metre | ₹ per kg | Prevents comparing unlike commercial quantities. |
| Material construction | Top skin, bottom skin, core and adhesive build-up | Foil alloy, foil thickness, cell size and core thickness | Defines what is actually being purchased. |
| Dimensions and quantity | Panel size, net area, number of panels and geometry | Expanded dimensions, supplied weight and packing unit | Determines quantity and handling. |
| Finish | Coating type, colour, gloss, texture and protective film | Normally not a finished face | Affects appearance, exposure suitability and price. |
| Fabrication | Flat, cassette, curved, J-type, edge closures and inserts | Core cutting or special preparation, if any | Can materially change project cost. |
| Fixing and sub-frame | Included, excluded or separately itemised | Not a finished-panel fixing system | Separates product rate from system cost. |
| Commercial terms | Taxes, freight, unloading, payment, validity and delivery | Taxes, freight, packing, payment, validity and delivery | Creates a comparable landed value. |
| Documents | Datasheet, reports, drawings, finish approval and traceability | Core specification, test data and batch identification | Supports technical review and purchase control. |
Avoid misleading honeycomb price comparisons
Comparing ₹/sq m with ₹/kg
Keep finished-panel and core-only quotations in separate comparison sheets.
Assuming the rate is installed
Ask for separate material, fabrication, fixing, freight, installation and tax lines.
Ignoring skin and core details
Match skin thickness, foil thickness, cell size and total panel thickness before comparing.
Applying the flat-panel rate to every shape
Obtain specific prices for cassette, curved, inclined, J-type and 3D louver geometries.
Parametric aluminium honeycomb louvers for expressive façades
The fin angle, depth, spacing and repetition can be coordinated with the design intent, viewing conditions, daylight strategy, support framework and buildability requirements. The lightweight aluminium honeycomb construction helps create visually substantial forms while managing dead load compared with heavier solid alternatives.
- Project-specific geometry Develop dynamic pyramid, static pyramid, moon, wave and bespoke parametric patterns.
- Light and shade control Use fin orientation, projection and spacing to support the project’s solar-control and daylight objectives.
- Fabrication flexibility Panels may be cut, curved or formed into buildable modules subject to approved detailing and production review.
- Integrated façade planning Coordinate the louver modules with the sub-frame, joints, tolerances, wind design, drainage and maintenance access.
