As a responsible corporate citizen, Aludecor purchases aluminium and ACP sheet scraps, ensuring valuable materials re-enter the production cycle rather than ending up as waste.
As one of India’s leading ACP brands, Aludecor recognises its obligation to manage material lifecycles end-to-end. Buying back scraps from fabricators and installers directly reduces landfill contributions from the construction sector.
Aluminium is infinitely recyclable without loss of properties. By purchasing aluminium trims, cut-offs and old ACP sheets, Aludecor feeds recovered material back into the aluminium production chain, reducing primary extraction and energy use.
Fabricators and contractors gain a structured, fair-value return on scrap generated during installation and fabrication — turning off-cuts and waste material into tangible economic benefit while supporting Aludecor’s sustainability goals.
The scrap buyback programme directly supports the recycled content and end-of-life recovery metrics reported in our EPD declarations (95.1% secondary material recovery), creating a transparent, traceable loop from production to recovery.
