Mr. Ashok Kumar Bhaiya, CMD of Aludecor, has played a pioneering role in reintroducing Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) in India and shaping the industry into what it is today. Born into a business family, his professional journey began at the age of 20 as a trainee in his family’s raw jute business, which was among the leading distributors of its time. His dedication, vision, and performance soon earned him the responsibility of leading the business.

In 1995, he expanded into imports and exports, with ACP emerging as a key focus area. A visit to China proved to be a turning point, where he observed the extensive application of ACP and recognized its immense potential in the Indian market. To deepen his technical understanding, he travelled extensively across the USA and Europe in 2002, studying ACP technology, manufacturing processes, and global testing standards.

With a clear vision and strong technical foundation, he established Aludecor’s advanced manufacturing units in Haridwar in 2006 and again in 2015, strengthening India’s ACP manufacturing ecosystem. Today, under his leadership, Aludecor stands tall as India’s only ACP manufacturer with an in-house NABL-accredited FR testing laboratory, reinforcing its commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.
