    DIFFERENT SYSTEMS OFFERED BY ALUDECOR

Aludecor has 3 assembly systems that offer new possibilities and solutions. These systems have been designed in great detail to adapt to the particular needs of each construction.

    • Pressure Equalised Rainscreen System (PER)
    • Hanging Rainscreen System (HR)
    • Male Female Rainscreen System (MFR)

    WHAT ARE RAINSCREEN CLADDINGS?

Rainscreen claddings are external layers that minimise the force of wind-driven water movement. They block the water from entering small breaches in the surface of a building. By the time the water reaches the “true” exterior wall, it loses drive and the ability to permeate the wall. This protective layer literally screens the wall from rains, hence the name.

WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF ALUDECOR SYSTEMS?

Aludecor Systems give you incredibly flat surfaces. This provides the creator with the opportunity to develop aesthetically pleasing façades that are durable. A multi-layered Rainscreen cladding system can easily outperform alternative types of construction at an economic life-long cost.

  • WHAT IS PER?

Pressure Equalised Systems (PER) enable engineers to form ACP trays using traditional rout and return. ACP strips are inserted in the grooves to provide a seemingly seamless finish.

    01. VAPOUR DIFFUSION

Typically water vapour moves from zones of high moisture to that of low moisture. Therefore it moves from the warm to the cold side of the envelope.

    02. AIR TRANSPORT

Air travels from belts of high pressure to that of low pressure. This happens when moisture is carried in the moving air.

The Aludecor Pressure Equalised Rainscreen cladding is designed with a series of pressurised compartments both at the top and bottom and are closed on the sides. When wind pressure acts on the wall, these compartments fill with air. The compartments can fill only to the point where the air pressure matches the pressure of the wind coming in. This is because the sides are closed and the airflow through the vents is calibrated. The air pressure within the compartments in the cladding assembly prevents negative relative pressure inside the cavity from `pulling’ water into the wall assembly, thereby keeping out the bulk of water.

ADVANTAGES OF PER

Pressure Equalised Systems (PER) enable engineers to form ACP trays using traditional rout and return. ACP strips are inserted in the grooves to provide a seemingly seamless finish.

01. AESTHETICALY SUPERIOR

The façade looks almost seamless because the 22 mm grooves are in the same colour as the ACPs. PER grants a beautiful monolithic look that suits both low and high-rises.

02. AESTHETICALY SUPERIOR

PER requires almost zero maintenance.

03. SAFETY

It is safe compared to conventional methods of installation. Its Pressure Equalisation principle ensures that ACPs are stable and do not disintegrate.

04. DURABILITY

IPER increases the longevity of the facade by a minimum of 20%. It also comes with a warranty of 12 years (with any Aludecor ACP). Furthermore if installed through Aludecor Systems then the warranty extends to 15 years for AL45 ACP of Aludecor.

05. SPECIALTY

There is zero possibility of undulation across all Aludecor Systems.

  • WHAT ARE VENTILATED FACADES?

Ventilated façades are external finishing systems that allow the fitting of Aluminium Composite Panels, separated from thermal insulation, by using a loading structure. The distance allows the air to flow between the panel and the façade with which an optimum thermal and acoustic insulation is achieved. It also protects against atmospheric agents efficiently. The panel is fixed to the façade using constructive elements that have been designed and fabricated for an easy fitting of the system.

The main advantage of the ventilated facades is that it helps the building to conserve energy and therefore reduce on bills. This is made possible by the chamber that exists between the brick and the composite panel. It causes a reduction in thermal transmission and minimal external heat enters the building in summers and vice versa in winter. This helps save energy inside the building and reduces cooling or heating expenses.

  • WHAT IS HR?

The Aludecor Hanging Rainscreen System (HR) is a concealed fixing mechanism that is versatile and can be assembled quickly. The tray modules here can be both horizontal and vertical. Aludecor HR offers the creator with great design liberty to execute the most revolutionary claddings.

    PRINCIPLE BEHIND HR

The Aludecor HR System is based on the back-ventilated façade mechanism. Bottommost panels have perforations and the uppermost panels are not covered so that air can circulate. This helps in cooling the building to an extent. The perforations help to keep out the dust.

ADVANTAGES OF HR

01. FACILITATES INSULATION

HR gives a ventilated façade that facilitates insulation. Clubbed with insulation materials it helps to save energy by 30% at least. Equivalent level of insulation cannot be achieved by traditional wet seal or rout and return method.

02. EASY INSTALLATION

This system offers easy installation around curves and corners and saves on time as well as cost. The installation must be done from the bottom to top.Specially designed stiffners and customised brackets are provided for bigger panels that add to the ease of installation.

03. GREEN CERTIFICATION

It helps buildings qualify for IGBC certification.

04. SAFE AND DURABLE

HR is safe as compared to conventional methods of installations. The specially designed reinforcement units enable load taking of the ACP trays. This ensures better safety and increases the longevity of the façade by 20% at least. It also comes with a warranty of 12 years (with any Aludecor ACP). Furthermore if installed through Aludecor Systems then the warranty extends to 15 years for AL45 ACP of Aludecor.

05. ALMOST ZERO MAINTENANCE

This System offers low to no maintenance.

06. UNMATCHED FLATNESS

Facades installed through HR system have grooves of minimum 3mm width – which can go up to 32mm depending on wind load, panel size and design - that grant structures a monolithic look. HR also offers remarkable flatness with zero possibility of undulation.

  • WHAT IS THE MALE FEMALE RAINSCREEN SYSTEM (MFR)?

The Aludecor Male Female Rainscreen System (MFR), for assembling the composite panels on ventilated facades, comprises Male and Female 6063-T6 aluminium alloy profiles. This System has two profiles over which the shaped trays are fixed.

It is a concealed fixing system that is versatile and can be assembled quickly. Furthermore it has been developed especially in order to construct ventilated facades for Aludecor’s composite panels with horizontal adjustment.

The substructure is made entirely of 6063 T6 aluminium profiles. It comprises fixings in double T shape of different lengths in order to absorb all irregularities of the façade. In order to avoid vibrations in the panels, the Male and Female profiles have the neoprene protection gasket.

The spacer is fixed to the vertical parameter using special mechanical wedges that are recommended in each case by the fixture suppliers. These double T spacers receive the omega-shaped vertical mullions.

The trays are fixed to the vertical mullions using extruded profiles made from aluminium alloy 6063 T6.

    MALE FEMALE RAINSCREEN SYSTEMS (MFR)

It is best suited for high-rises, commercial and modular structures.
