What does ACP sheet price per sq ft mean?
ACP sheet price per sq ft allocates the material value to one square foot of gross panel area. We use it as a comparison unit, while the approved quotation and invoice control the commercial transaction.
Why the unit matters
A per-sheet quote cannot be compared with ACP sheet price per sq ft until the gross sheet area is known. The same applies when comparing an aluminium composite panel price per square metre, an ACP board price per piece or a louver rate per running foot. We also distinguish gross panel area from usable fabricated area. Grooves, folds, returns, joint widths, openings, finish direction and cutting yield can increase the number of sheets required.
- Per square foot: material rate for one square foot of panel area.
- Per square metre: area rate in metric units; 1 m² is approximately 10.7639 sq ft.
- Per sheet or panel: value for one stated width and length.
- Per piece: value for a defined component, accessory or standard length.
- Per running foot: rate based on length, used for Finline in our louver list.
- Installed rate: a broader project scope that must be defined line by line.

Core and fire category
How core choice affects ACP sheet price
We treat the core and fire classification as a separate specification decision. The visible rate should never substitute for the required safety review.
- LDPE: Regular PE-core construction is used only where the selected grade and project requirements allow it. We verify application and approval requirements before supply.
- FR B1: Our flat price list gives separate FR B1 values for many entries. This is a separate price column, not the same commercial treatment as the louver FR B1 upcharge.
- FR B: Selected technical grades can use FR B core. Where no direct price appears in the flat list, we provide a project-specific quotation.
- FR A2: Selected higher-specification grades can use FR A2 core. We do not infer an A2 price from the FR B1 column.
Fire-safety terminology and classifications must be checked against the exact product declaration and applicable test standard. We advise buyers to compare the declared core, classification, product grade and project requirement rather than treating different fire labels as interchangeable.
Coating and finish
Why coating and surface category change the ACP price
Our ACP sheet price reflects more than panel thickness. Coating chemistry, paint build-up, aluminium substrate and special finish manufacturing can all affect the rate.
- Polyester: Used on verified interior grades such as AL312 and AL32. Compare the application and coating build-up before using a lower interior rate as an exterior benchmark.
- SDP: Used on several exterior grades and finish families. The exact series, paint thickness and aluminium skin should be stated.
- PVDF / FEVE: Used with selected architectural alloy and skin configurations. We recommend checking grade, substrate, coating build-up and project exposure together.
- Special finishes: Timber, stone, metallic, textured and special-effect surfaces can have different ACP sheet price per sq ft values and quantity conditions.
