Zinc Composite Panel

Our ZCP catalogue lists a 4 mm construction with a 0.5 mm zinc face and 0.5 mm aluminium backing. Final pricing must be matched to the approved panel construction, core, finish, dimensions and quantity.
We begin every Zinc Sheet Price comparison by identifying the exact product. Our genuine zinc composite panel combines a zinc outer face with a core and aluminium backing, while our solid zinc panel is formed from solid titanium-zinc sheet. Zinc-look ACP may recreate a zinc-inspired colour or texture, but it remains an aluminium composite panel. We currently indicate ₹4,800-₹5,500 per square metre for zinc composite panels and ₹4,250-₹7,418 per square metre for 0.7-1.2 mm solid zinc sheets. These are indicative material ranges rather than installed façade or roofing rates. Final pricing depends on the selected product, thickness, dimensions, finish, quantity, fabrication, sub-frame, installation scope, delivery location and approved project drawings.
Zinc Panels is a broad market term that can describe solid zinc sheets, genuine zinc composite panels, fabricated zinc cassettes, standing-seam or shingle systems, and aluminium composite panels carrying a zinc-like finish. Material composition determines performance, fabrication, weathering and price. A grey-blue finish is not proof that a product contains zinc, and Zinc Sheet Price comparisons are meaningful only after the actual construction is verified.

Our ZCP catalogue lists a 4 mm construction with a 0.5 mm zinc face and 0.5 mm aluminium backing. Final pricing must be matched to the approved panel construction, core, finish, dimensions and quantity.

Solid zinc has no composite core. Our solid zinc range uses high-purity titanium-zinc sheets for façades and roofs. Thickness, sheet dimensions, natural or pre-weathered finish, forming system and installation method influence the solid zinc panel price.
| Particulars | Genuine Zinc Composite Panel | Solid Zinc Panel | Zinc-look ACP sheets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Actual material | Actual zinc outer face, composite core and aluminium backing | Solid titanium-zinc sheet or coil | Aluminium composite panel with a decorative zinc-like finish |
| Zinc content | Present in the outer face | Present throughout the sheet | Not established by appearance; verify the product declaration |
| Weathering and patina | Driven by the genuine zinc face and selected finish | Natural or pre-weathered zinc surface behaviour | Driven by the applied decorative coating or finish |
| Fabrication | Composite-panel routing, folding and cassette detailing | Sheet-metal forming, folding, seaming or system-specific fabrication | Standard ACP fabrication appropriate to its grade and construction |
| Price comparison | Compare face specification, core, backing, size and fabrication | Compare thickness, dimensions, finish, weight and forming scope | Compare ACP grade, aluminium skin, core, coating and size |
| Suitable use | Where genuine zinc appearance and composite-panel efficiency are required | Where solid-zinc forming, roofing or façade detailing is required | Where a zinc-like visual finish is desired without specifying genuine zinc |
| Main buyer caution | Do not use the same name or Zinc Sheet Price benchmark for all three products. Request written material composition and the exact pricing unit. |
We present separate indicative material ranges for genuine zinc composite panels and solid zinc sheets. Please match the selected product, thickness, dimensions, finish, quantity and commercial scope before comparing quotations.
| Product family | Specification context | Price range | Unit | Commercial note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Aludecor Zinc Composite Panel | Final rate depends on thickness, finish, core, dimensions and order quantity | ₹4,800-₹5,500 | Per m² | Request current quotation matched to the approved ZCP specification |
| Product family | Thickness range stated | Price range | Unit | Commercial note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Solid zinc | 0.7-1.2 mm | ₹4,250-₹7,418 | Per m² | Request the exact rate for the approved thickness, finish, dimensions, quantity and scope |
We present both zinc price ranges per square metre. This supports area-based planning, but it does not make the two products directly equivalent. The commercial meaning of one square metre must still be checked against specification and scope.
Multiply the approved net or procurement area by the applicable per-m² range. Confirm whether full-sheet rounding or minimum quantities apply.
A square metre of genuine ZCP includes a zinc face, core and backing. A square metre of solid zinc is a metal sheet whose forming and support system may be different.
Per-m² material rates do not automatically include fabrication, sub-frame, seams, fixings, trims, access equipment, labour, freight or taxes.
A reliable Zinc Sheet Price comparison therefore uses a common specification, common quantity and common scope rather than a headline rate alone.
The lowest material rate may not produce the lowest completed façade or roof cost. Installed zinc cladding can include multiple design, fabrication and site packages.
Zinc composite panels or solid zinc sheets in the approved thickness, finish and dimensions.
Cutting, folding, routing, cassettes, seams, edge returns, flashings, trims and special geometry.
Brackets, rails, clips, sub-frame, fasteners, membranes, insulation and cavity details.
Labour, access, lifting, scaffolding, shop drawings, mock-ups, supervision and quality checks.
Packaging, freight, unloading, taxes, wastage, delivery conditions and quotation validity.
One of our 4 mm Zinc Composite Panel configurations uses a 0.5 mm zinc alloy face to EN 988, a 0.5 mm aluminium backing to EN 485-2, and either an LDPE or mineral-filled fire-rated core. We also offer fire-rated ZCP configurations; the exact core and reaction-to-fire classification must be matched to the approved product and certificate.
Because our indicative Zinc Composite Panel price range can cover more than one configuration, we confirm the quoted thickness, zinc face, core, backing, finish and fire-performance requirement before order.
We do not use a single technical construction to represent every Zinc Composite Panel quotation. The current project quotation should identify the approved panel configuration and commercial scope used for pricing.
| Particulars | 1 mm solid zinc reference | 3 mm solid aluminium reference |
|---|---|---|
| Approximate weight | ~7.2 kg/m² | ~8.1 kg/m² |
| Material behaviour | Softer and more formable; suitable for curved or tapered detailing when properly designed | Stiffer and harder; commonly used for flat or cassette-style construction |
| Typical jointing approach | May use standing seams, interlocking and soldered details depending on system | Often uses fabricated cassettes, rivets, fasteners and sealant-based joints |
| Thermal expansion coefficient | 0.022 mm/mK | 0.024 mm/mK |
| Installation | Typically requires specialist sheet-metal workmanship | Typically uses established aluminium-panel fabrication and installation methods |
| Cost interpretation | Higher skill and forming scope can increase installed cost | Initial material and installation may be more predictable for simple geometry |
| Decision basis | Choose after reviewing design geometry, finish, jointing, support, exposure, installer capability, maintenance strategy and total project cost. |
Commercial, institutional, residential and public façades can use genuine zinc where panel dimensions, wind actions, sub-frame, joints, drainage, ventilation, fire requirements and dissimilar-metal compatibility are resolved.
Solid zinc can be formed into standing-seam and other roof details. Slope, substrate, ventilation, clips, seams, thermal movement, drainage and skilled workmanship are essential.
Canopies, soffits, parapets, dormers, chimneys, balconies, gables, interior accents and feature elements may use zinc subject to the selected product and approved detailing.
Normalise every quotation before concluding that one Zinc Sheet Price is lower. The same quantity must cover the same product, dimensions, finish and delivery scope.
